The half-zip jumper is the elegant answer to cool mornings: zip it up to the neck when the wind picks up, open it over a shirt when you step inside. The soft, light knit can be worn all day, from the desk to the seafront.

How to wear it. Over an Oxford shirt with the collar showing, with chinos and suede boots; or with grey flannel trousers and a navy coat.

Size advice. Sizes run smaller than Italian sizing: choose one size up. Chest as given by the manufacturer: S 96–100 cm, M 98–102 cm, L 100–104 cm, XL 102–106 cm, XXL 104–108 cm, XXXL 106–110 cm.

Care. Hand wash or machine wash at 30 °C on a delicate cycle. Dry flat and do not tumble dry.

Wash at low temperatures and inside out, without bleach. Dry flat to keep shape and colour; iron on medium heat. For knitwear, hand wash or use a wool cycle.
