The long coat is the piece that gives shape to the whole winter wardrobe: a straight line, single-breasted, with a lapel collar and a generous length that keeps out the cold. Over a suit at the office or a roll-neck at the weekend, it has the quiet elegance of the classics.

How to wear it. Over a navy suit and lace-up shoes for the office; with a roll-neck, flannel trousers and loafers at the weekend.
Size advice. Sizes run smaller than Italian sizing: choose one size up (even two if you want to wear it over a blazer). Manufacturer's guide by weight: M 45–55 kg, L 55–65 kg, XL 65–72 kg, XXL 72–80 kg, XXXL 80–87 kg, 4XL 87–95 kg.
Care. Dry cleaning recommended. Brush the cloth after wearing and hang the coat on a shaped hanger.

Garment care
Wash at low temperatures and inside out, without bleach. Dry flat to keep shape and colour; iron on medium heat. For knitwear, hand wash or use a wool cycle.
