Corduroy is the autumn fabric par excellence: warm to the eye, soft to the touch, with a texture that gives character to even the simplest look. This jacket has a shirt collar, two buttoned flap chest pockets and a clean line to wear over a shirt or a roll-neck.

How to wear it. With a cream roll-neck, grey flannel trousers and suede loafers. In ecru or olive green it's perfect with dark denim and a white shirt.

Care. Hand wash in cold water or gentle dry clean. Do not wring or tumble dry. Iron inside out on low heat, without flattening the ribs.

Wash at low temperatures and inside out, without bleach. Dry flat to keep shape and colour; iron on medium heat. For knitwear, hand wash or use a wool cycle.
